Carol A. Knapp, Executive Director

Carol joined HCDC in March 2011 bringing over 10-1/2 years experience in the economic development field to the position.  She has obtained extensive training in economic development over her career and received her Economic Development Finance Professional certification from the National Development Council in January 2004.  She has also received certification in grant writing.  Carol is a graduate of Dale Carnegie and Leadership Unlimited.  She is a present member of the Project Leadership Class of 2012 and is taking coursework to obtain her Master Gardeners certification. 

Kathy Phillips, Office Administrative Associate

Kathy has provided administrative support to the Huron County Development Council since 1994 when HCDC and OSU Extension partnered in the county's economic development efforts.  Kathy's history with the organization, knowledge of the communities, positive work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication make her a valuable asset to the Huron County economic development team.
