Huron County is an economic incubator for agricultural and food related business. The County is the #1 vegetable producer in the State of Ohio and the #99 vegetable producing county in the United States.

Partnering with New Horizons Baking Company, The State of Ohio and Norwalk Economic Development Corporation, the Huron County Development Council assisted New Horizons in building and financing a rail spur and flour tubes to better serve their expanding production levels. |
