SCORE was founded in 1964 to assist business owners and entrepreneurs establish
and grow their businesses. Nearly 11,000 volunteer counselors throughout the country
provide expertise and guidance in a wide range of industries.
Counseling is free of charge and confidential. SCORE can assist busy entrepreneurs
who are just getting into business or in need of a seasoned professional to act
as a sounding board for their existing business.
With six counselors, Huron County’s SCORE office opened in Norwalk in October, 2004.
The office can provide a Small Business Kit with answers to the most common questions
asked by start-up companies.
